Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel Wins Canada’s Top Honor at World Travel Awards
Pack your bags for a breathtaking mountain retreat! The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel has been crowned Canada’s Leading Hotel in the 31st World Travel Awards.
This iconic hotel in Banff National Park is no stranger to recognition. It was named Alberta’s Leading Resort in 2020, 2021, and 2022 and took the top spot as Canada’s best hotel last year. Clearly, this gem has garnered plenty of admiration over the years.
The competition was stiff as the nominees included the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary, another Fairmont property in Vancouver, Muir Halifax, and the Ritz-Carlton in Montreal. Despite fierce contenders, the Fairmont Banff Springs emerged victorious.
While the hotel was also in the running for Alberta’s Leading Hotel Suite and Alberta’s Leading Resort, those honors went to the Lakeview Suite at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, respectively.
